The full-body activity video game of "Wii Sports" has become a new fitness fad. With the pressure sensitive Wii Balance Board, wii fitness has reached a whole new level.

The combination of the Wii Fit games and the balance board, with the dual hand controllers lets you run, skip, hula-hoop, box and even fly like a bird!

After your daily "weigh-in," in which you're lauded for meeting your goals or chastised for overeating/underexercising, you can choose a variety of activities from nine categories, including Yoga, Aerobics, Strength and Balance games. Or you can choose to tell the Wii Fit that you want to work on another goal, and it'll create a workout for you. With all but a few games, all of the activities use the Balance Board which willsynchronise your activities with your Mii's on screen shenanagins.

Of notable exception is the running games, which rely on changes in momentum of the handheld controller, and can be put into a pocket while you run on your treadmill or use your elliptical. In fact, you're encouraged to turn on another channel while you're doing this, since running in place for twenty minutes can become dreadfully boring.
